Our founder, a practicing surgeon, spent years unable to wear the nails she loved. Hospital protocols meant long nails were out of the question — but short, bare nails didn’t feel like her either.
She designed the first Calder nail ring in her kitchen. Within months, thousands of women — nurses, teachers, athletes, new moms — were wearing them.
Today, The Calder Atelier handcrafts nail rings in Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold, each made to last a lifetime of daily wear.
